Harp Music Beginnings

The first RNSO harp circle began in 2006 at First Light Center for Homeless Women and Children. Shelter guests were paired with community volunteers as they learned to play harp in preparation for volunteering. The project was funded by the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham and was called Home Is Where the Harp Is Harp Circle.  The harp circle meeting moved to South Highland Presbyterian Church in January 2007.
