About

Our Chaplain

LAM blue suitLeigh Ann Min, M.Div., BCC, is a native of Birmingham, Alabama currently serving as part-time chaplain for RNSO and full-time Chaplain/Pastoral Care Manager at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper.  Leigh Ann often times plays guitar and sings Christian hymns in her visits with patients. She’s had a love for music and senior adults for a very long time as a first child/first grandchild on both sides of the family. Leigh Ann earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Birmingham-Southern College, received her Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from Columbia Theological Seminary, is an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament and a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) by the Association of Professional Chaplains.  She is ordained and endorsed for chaplaincy by the Presbyterian Church (USA).  She is a former employee of UAB in the School of Medicine, Division of Medical Student Services and comes to ministry as a third career.

The oldest of three daughters, and the first grandchild on both sides of the family, Leigh Ann grew up in a close-knit family which revolved around the family’s motorsports business. She and husband, Phil, live in Mount Olive with two cats.
